This is a brand new family owned site with 17 level pitches, EHU and water at each pitch with great views over Kirkwall Bay. Toilet and shower facilities are spotless with plenty of hot water. Great area for cycling and walking. The owners have a great knowledge of Orkney and will suggest areas to visit ie – Skara Brae, Ring of Brodgar, Brough of Gurness, Scapa Flow. Thoroughly recommended, this was our first visit to Orkney and will definitely visit this site again.”
“Lovely view. Easy to find. Friendly staff. Good access with level pitches all with excellent views of the sea/harbour. Good electricity supply with water on all pitches. New heated facilities block with nice shower. It’s a 30 min walk to Kirkwall or a short level bike ride. Kirkwall has a Tesco & Lidl. Orkney is steeped in history particularly Neolithic ( Skara Brae, Stenness etc and wartime (Scapa flow) and is well worth the short ferry trip across the Pentland Firth.”
